Licensed by E.I. Du Pont De Nemour based in the US, Acrylic Factory #   has been producing Acrylic Fibers in Iran for three decades. The major monomers used in the production of acrylic fibers are acrylonitrile (AN), methylacrylate (MA) or vinyl acetate (VA). The acrylic fibers from Acrylic Fiber Factory # are produced using Slurry Polymerization and Dry Spinning. The fibers from Acrylic Factory # can be produced with a detex of .- dtex and a cut length of - mm and can also be produced variously on a customized basis. The factory is also capable of producing microdenier fibers. Good tenacity and uniform dyability are among their other outstanding characteristics. The production technology as well as the overall, physical and mechanical characteristics of the fibers is such that they have placed them in the Dralon products by Bayer, Germany. Like other manmade fibers, polyester fibers are produced using industrial methods. Thanks to their characteristics they are good substitutes for such natural fibers as cotton. They are produced by combining dimethyl terephthalate, monoethylene glycol or terephthalic acid (substitute for the dimethyl terephthalate raw materials) in the presence of good catalysts. Titanium dioxide is used to produce a semi-dull product. Also, in the production process prior to packaging, the fibers are submerged in finish (.%). For such physical characteristics as the diameter and fineness of filaments, polyester yarn production and supply is customized. Our acrylic fibers are produced using monomer acrylonitrile as the major monomer (over %), methylacrylate or vinyl acetate as the second comonomer (less than %) and a third comonomer for dyability, by Solution Polymerization and Wet Spinning using SNIA technology. In both dull and semi-dull product, Titanium Dioxide (max .%) is used. Also, in the process of production, the fibers are submerged in finish (finish of about .%) prior to packing.
