All manmade fibers used in carpet and textile industries can be converted to Superwhite fibers by Gel-Dyeing using optical whiteners. All products are capable of being made Superwhite. Our acrylic fibers are produced using monomer acrylonitrile as the major monomer (over %), methylacrylate or vinyl acetate as the second comonomer (less than %) and a third comonomer for dyability, by Solution Polymerization and Wet Spinning using SNIA technology. In both dull and semi-dull product, Titanium Dioxide (max .%) is used. Also, in the process of production, the fibers are submerged in finish (finish of about .%) prior to packing. The following are some of the major characteristics of our products:
Consistent with SNIA technology, the production process for this product starting with the mixing of monomers as feedback input to the reactors for polymer solution in Dimethylformamide (DMF) in the Chemical Area through to fiber production, drawing, finishing and packaging is continuous and that at each stage samplings and controls are conducted and finally the product is graded and released in accordance with the test results. Bright, dull and semi-dull products are normal. The product is packaged in bales weighing ± kg and then put in covered polypropylene jute and rod guards. The bales measure ** mm. - tons of the product can be transported in a -foot container.
Licensed by E.I. Du Pont De Nemour based in the US, Acrylic Factory # has been producing Acrylic Fibers in Iran for three decades. The major monomers used in the production of acrylic fibers are acrylonitrile (AN), methylacrylate (MA) or vinyl acetate (VA). The acrylic fibers from Acrylic Fiber Factory # are produced using Slurry Polymerization and Dry Spinning. The fibers from Acrylic Factory # can be produced with a detex of .- dtex and a cut length of - mm and can also be produced variously on a customized basis. The factory is also capable of producing microdenier fibers. Good tenacity and uniform dyability are among their other outstanding characteristics. The production technology as well as the overall, physical and mechanical characteristics of the fibers is such that they have placed them in the Dralon products by Bayer, Germany. The following are some of the characteristics of our product:
Like other manmade fibers, polyester fibers are produced using industrial methods. Thanks to their characteristics they are good substitutes for such natural fibers as cotton. They are produced by combining dimethyl terephthalate, monoethylene glycol or terephthalic acid (substitute for the dimethyl terephthalate raw materials) in the presence of good catalysts. Titanium dioxide is used to produce a semi-dull product. Also, in the production process prior to packaging, the fibers are submerged in finish (.%). For such physical characteristics as the diameter and fineness of filaments, polyester yarn production and supply is customized. The chief application of texturized polyester yarn is filament-weft or circular yarns. The advantages of polyester yarn are:
