One of the new functions of the GPS PILOT CEMIS is the automatic creation of multiple different reference lines within one field. Using recorded or imported field boundaries, A-B lines and contours for different areas and sections of the field can be calculated and saved before cultivating the field. This feature simplifies work in irregularly shaped fields, as several headland sequences and rounded field boundaries can be saved as reference lines in addition to the main working direction. When the driver switches to a different section of the field, they simply activate the reference line for the relevant segment and then resume work straight away with maximum precision.
The innovative crop flow is a particular feature of the DISCO RC AUTO SWATHER. As standard, the roller conditioners are driven by a double drive roller with a specially designed scissor gearbox – for maximum throughput and durability even under sustained heavy use. The transmission and drive trains are designed for use with tractors up to hp and incorporate new, P-Line triple telescopic driveshafts developed jointly with Walterscheid featuring specially toughened large diameter steel profiles and a new K- friction clutch. This combination makes the DISCO RC AUTO SWATHER the most powerful belt mower with conditioner currently on the market.
The XERION Series comes with a customisable package for ISOBUS and precision farming applications. Buyers can choose from automatic steering by GPS PILOT with different correction signals, both on- and off-line Task Management, and precision farming applications with Section Control and Variable Rates Application (VRA). All functions for modern, precise and site-specific work are available in conjunction with the -inch CEMIS terminal which uses the familiar CEBIS control concept. With CLAAS connect, new licences or activations can be transferred straight to the terminal online, as can tasks with predefined tracks and application maps from connected farm management information systems (CLAAS API).
CLAAS has launched the two most powerful belt grouper mowers on the market for tractors up to hp – the DISCO C AUTO SWATHER and DISCO RC AUTO SWATHER. These mowers have been specifically developed for harvesting lucerne, whole-crop silage and winter forage alongside traditional grass crops, with the focus on maximum yields and forage volumes. The harvested crop is gently and effectively crushed without loss by two counter-rotating polyurethane rollers. Furthermore, the conditioner extends across the entire width of the mower bed to avoid any forage jams.
The ground drive is provided by a -speed, manually shifted hydrostatic drive. A choice of top speeds – , or km/h – is available. For the MAXI version, an electrically engageable differential lock is available for the front wheels which have a diameter of up to . m. For the rear axle, customers have a choice of wheels with a diameter of . m or, for maximum soil protection, as much as . m.
