Now the SkyPanel family is expanding with the introduction of SkyPanel X. While the SkyPanel was designed to be a soft light for studio use, the SkyPanel X is optimized for both hard and soft light in all-weather conditions, bringing improvements in terms of lux output, IP rating, color rendition, dimming quality, and controllability.

Both units are : LED panels that deliver great skin tones, local and DMX-based controls, full-color operation in different modes, and a wide range of tools for soft light applications. They are also fully compatible: all existing S-C accessories fit the X when its S Adapter is attached. The weight specification is also similar for both fixtures, when the S-C has its power supply attached in the back.
