Our local partners primarily focus on the conservation of birds, their habitats, and the country’s biodiversity, all for the benefit of the people with their active participation. The team conducts ongoing research on birds and other associated flora and fauna, supporting critical conservation efforts in key biodiversity areas, including the provinces of Pichincha, Imbabura, Carchi, Guayas, Manabí, El Oro, and Santa Elena.

In order to use our API, you’ll need to head to Settings in your business account and click on “+ Add a new API key” to add a payment method. This can be a payment card or you can opt to pay by invoice and pay via whatever method suits you. Billing works on a usage-based subscription, this means that you will be billed monthly, with all of your tree planting requests from the month processed at once. We use Stripe’s secure payments gateway to process both payments and invoices. With the Impact API reports, you can see current unpaid trees if you want to preview what you will be charged.

We only plant native species trees, which vary from nation to nation. We never plant or introduce any invasive species at any of our project sites. While true reforestation remains our focus, we also plant a percentage of agroforestry species for sustainable community use. This prevents the community from going into newly restored forests and provides greater community benefit and involvement in the project. Our partners mostly plant dry deciduous trees and magroves, but over species are planted throughout all our projects. We also have monthly reviews with each reforestation project leader to ensure the trees we are planting are adapted and adequate to their respective environment.
