یکی از وسیع ترین و مهمترین کاربردهای فوم بتن در کف سازی طبقات می باشد. با جایگزین‌ کردن فوم بتن به جای پوکه ریزی، حدود کیلوگرم در هر متر‌مکعب سبک‌ سازی صورت می پذیرد و سه‌ برابر عایق بندی حرارتی و صوتی در کف طبقات صورت می گیرد. چون فوم بتن وزن سبک و سرعت بالای اجرایی دارد سبب می شود تا زمان کمتری صرف اجرای آن گردد و زودتر به نتیجه مطلوب دست پیدا شود.
